PLASTIC MOLDING TECHNOLOGY - Centennial

Shipping Operator Duties and Responsibilities

It is required that all employees participate in a respectful and professional manor to ensure the success of the company. All employees are to perform to the best of their abilities their daily job responsibilities and any additional task as requested by a supervisor, maintenance manager or any upper management that may be needed and is not outlined below. The below outlined responsibilities of job descriptions. This list can be modified as required by management.

Work the standard designated hours Monday thru Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, including any overtime requirements as needed. Follow set times for all break and lunch times.

Constant and frequent standing and or walking. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects,

tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, knell,

Crouch or crawl. Frequently lift and or carry up to 50 pounds.

Environment to include loud noise and occasional high ambient temperatures.

The use of personal protective equipment is required; ear/hearing protection, safety glasses and various means of addition protection standards for the company and regulatory compliance. Follow all safety rules of the machinery and shop.

Follow all procedures as required per company certifications requirement.

Provide personal tools needed for the performance of the duties. Department supervisor to make available the list of need tools at time of employment.

Read and follow and complete all shop floor documentation.

Locate parts to be shipped from the final inspection area or stock locations.

Perform packaging operations as specified by Process Sheet.

Return paperwork and parts to quality control if proper sign off is not present.

Process shipment

Operator to troubleshoot during operation to maintain continued quality and document rejects.

Handle all parts with care and store in appropriate box or cart. Complete required documentation of paperwork, label and move parts to controlled area for next operation as listed on Process Sheet.

Keep area clean and organized during production of parts. When job is completed returning all tooling to storage area and all tooling used to produce parts.

It is operator’s responsibility to keep equipment clean and perform set maintenance to machinery as set forth by supervisor.

Notify supervisor immediately if machinery is not performing as expected.

Help other operators to troubleshoot as needed.

Assist in the cleanliness of the department as needed. This would include sweeping department removal of trash, in or around other areas, etc.
