Retail Territory Sales Manager - Central Anatolia & Black Sea

Location: Ankara, Turkey

About the position

Identify growth opportunities in the Ankara, Central Anatolia, and Black Sea region's retail channel and actively drive Upfield Turkey's growth plans in General Trade Distributors, Distributors sub-channels, and Local Chains in Central Anatolia.

Develop and execute Customer Plans with new and existing partners to achieve value-added growth while working closely with the Customer Marketing Manager to align with business targets and potential within the portfolio.

Cultivate strong relationships within Upfield Turkey, collaborating with teams in Customer Marketing, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Take the lead in product forecasting for the channel, ensure timely order submissions from distributors and local chains, and monitor competitor activity, providing regular reports on changes in competitor behavior to the DT Channel Lead.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

3-5 years of proven sales management experience with a focus on customer-centricity.

Expertise in distributor and local chain management, along with demonstrated customer planning and forecasting skills.

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to collaborate across functions.

FMCG experience, ideally within the food industry, coupled with a strong work ethic, resilience, and teamwork.

Effective communication, negotiation, organization, and multitasking skills, with a willingness to handle diverse responsibilities, both operational and strategic, while independently connecting with customers and stakeholders.

Proficiency in English is preferred.
