Responsibilities

The Cloud Engineer Lead is responsible for cloud systems plans and strategy; design, development, and deployment of applications into a Cloud or Hybrid Cloud; and implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing. Cloud Engineering Lead responsibilities include architecting and leading the development and integration of cloud-based information and computer systems that meet specific mission needs. The Cloud Engineer Lead is accountable for the end-to-end cloud deployment experience, from concept development to deployment.

Qualifications

12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or related technical field

A minimum of five years of experience supporting cloud architecture design, development, implementation, and maintenance

A minimum of one of the following professional certifications: Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA), AWS Solutions Architect (Professional).

Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions similar to AWS

Experience supporting highly distributed applications

Experience leading cross-functional technology team

Experience utilizing agile software development methodologies and application lifecycle management

Demonstrated ability to work and quickly transition across multiple tasks

Experience in an IC environment performing in related technical areas

Working knowledge of the customer processes, programs, and policies

Demonstrated expert ability to effectively work with senior and executive level Government staff

TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
