AMFM Healthcare is looking for Clinical Group Facilitators to run various mental health focused groups. The Clinical Group Facilitator is a professional licensed or associate therapist that facilitates weekly group therapy sessions utilizing evidence based practices for our mental health program. Clinical Group Facilitators have experience working with acute clients that often have co-occurring mood disorders, substance use, and severe suicidal ideation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education Requirement: Associates degree or equivalent degree in a relevant course of study at an accredited university.

Acceptable Credentials (Preferred) - Resident in Counseling, Supervisee of Social Work, Substance Use Disorder Professional, or other from a National Accreditation provider.

Acceptable Credentials (Desired) - Fully licensed Clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, etc), Occupational Therapist, or Substance Use Disorder Professional.

Preferred - Eligible for registration with Virginia Board of Counseling or Virginia Department of Health Professions.

Hands-on experience in Groups (process, psycho educational), Family Therapy, Individual Therapy (wide range of modalities accepted), and working with clients with mental health and addiction issues.

Successful completion of Criminal Background Check through DBHDS, Background Investigation Unit, and VDSS Registry Searches, and ADP Selective Services Screening

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitates groups within areas of specialty (Clinical modalities, such as CBT, DBT, etc).

Adheres to any and all Joint Commission and CCL, DHS or DHCS standards.

Communicates directly with supervisory staff.

Is an effective team member as part of the overall program and clinical operations, and is able to communicate needs within and between departments effectively.

Utilizes treatment team and collaborative approach.

Provides therapeutic interventions during group sessions effectively.

Maintains Electronic Health Records to reflect the course of treatment and provide required documentation as required by company policy, including completion of documentation within the agency's 24 hour standard submission time requirement.

Attends staff meetings, supervisory conferences, training, and other activities, which ensures effective and efficient functioning of clinical operations.

Adheres to organizational standards and policies and procedures, code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures and exercise professionalism at all times.

Ability to assess for safety and provide appropriate interventions according to AMFM Policy and Procedures.
