Primary Care Physician - Medical Director

Medical Director/Primary Care role :

Medical Director is responsible for providing physician leadership in areas of Customer Experience, Growth, Performance, Communications, Physician/Hospital Relationships, Community Engagement and Quality. Assists with development and execution of organizational goals. The Medical Director will be working directly with a patient population needing chronic disease management and preventive care. The position reports to the System VP & Associate CMO and VP of Corporate Services.

Position Details:

NHSC Approved Clinic

Full time position. M-F (7:00am – 5:00pm)

21k visits annually between three Primary Care facilities.

100% outpatient care with both adult and pediatric patients.

1 Physician, 3 APPs

Call rotation shared by all providers.

License/Certifications/Experience:

Doctorate (MD or DO) in Medicine required.

Board certification or board eligible in Family Medicine, preferred.

Active State medical license or ability to obtain.

3 years of as a practicing Internist or Family Medicine physician, required.

Recent leadership experience within a medical practice, preferred.

Calling/dedication for rural healthcare, preferred.
