Pet Groomer - Full or Part-time

If you want flexible hours/days in a no-pressure and relaxed salon, we are the salon for you. We are seeking a full or part-time Pet Groomer at our busy salon in Sun City West, AZ to join our talented team! We have a large client base and can put you to work immediately. We handle all appointment scheduling so you can concentrate on what you do best: Grooming. We are a high-volume salon with an easy-going group of groomers. Very friendly co-workers who are always willing to help each other out. We would like our groomers with a minimum of 1 year experience with a great personality to interact with our wonderful customers. 50% commission plus strong tips for a job well done.Compensation:

$60,000Responsibilities:

Upon client arrival, discuss their grooming preferences and address any concerns they may have about their pets

Bathe and perform scissor cuts and shaving services on pets

Advise pet owners of any skin issues or health problems such as parasites, rashes, and wounds

Monitor pets for any physical or behavioral changes and promptly inform the owners

Discuss with pet owners grooming frequency and/or any issues found during the grooming process

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of grooming experience, including scissor cuts

Valid US work authorization

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Proficient in basic grooming techniques for different types of dogs

Knowledge of safety protocols and standards when working with animals
