Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The HVAC Service Technician will work on mission-critical projects which include hospitals, data centers, & large class A commercial real estate.

Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Skills: Perform thorough assessments of HVAC systems to identify issues, malfunctions, or potential problems.

Repairs and Maintenance: Execute repairs, replacements, or adjustments to HVAC components, including compressors, motors, thermostats, and other parts, to restore proper system functionality.

Installation: Install new commercial HVAC systems or components as needed, ensuring proper setup, alignment, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.

Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines.

Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their questions, explaining necessary repairs, and providing recommendations for system improvements.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance work performed, including equipment history and service reports.

Safety: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Continual Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

MUST BE journeyman level HVAC Service Technician with experience on high tonnage chillers & boilers.

Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.

Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
