Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory and timely inspecting while adhering to safety procedures. This position may be asked to help with sanding, finishing, gluing, and also includes reading drawings, filling out job travelers, logging jobs complete on the scheduling tool and checking parts to make sure they are in tolerance and able to be passed down to the next processing station.
Education and Knowledge:
High school diploma
Knowledge of Lean principles experience particularly 5S, Kanban implementation and traceability is preferred
An associates’ degree or some college is preferred
Experience/Skills and Competencies:
One year parts/warehousing related experience
One year in a manufacturing environment
Must have good organizational and time management skills
Ability to affirmatively meet deadlines and work under pressure
Proficient in MS office especially Word and Excel
Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
High-Lo operating experience
Ability to read part drawings
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to work in a team as well independently as needed
Hardworking and enthusiastic
Ability to follow manufacturing schedules
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembly, Pack, inspect in the most efficient manner..
Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received
Stocks all parts and raw materials in the warehouse stores after they have been checked in
Operate forklift truck when necessary
Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries
Notifies purchasing when materials are low
Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
Monthly stock and inventory counts
Responsible for FGs consumed as per schedule
Organizes storage locations and racking space
Sanding/finishing parts that have been machined
Some further machining and cutting of parts can be required depending on the job order
Assemble and label parts
Count and Inspect all parts that have been worked on
Some measurements of parts will be required too
Some packing of parts can be required too depending on job orders
Keeps all working areas clean and organized
Move parts to the next station to keep production lines going
Fill out production paperwork as necessary and in sure this follows parts to the next workstations

Part-time; non-exempt position
General working hours are from 6:00am – 2:30pm M-F but may change with prior notice.
