They delve into single cell RNA, DNA and ATAC sequencing methodologies, spatial transcriptomics, and proteomics tools, aiming to decipher the intricacies of the tumor microenvironment and uncover novel therapeutic pathways. Job Summary:

We are actively seeking a motivated Post Doc Scholar / Bioinformatician to join our dynamic research team at Hasanov Lab in PIIO. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of single-cell and spatial data analysis, tumor biology, and immunology.

Key Responsibilities:

Process, analyze, and interpret high-dimensional data from various omics platforms.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to answer crucial questions in tumor biology and immunology.

Publish research findings in high-impact journals.

Provide bioinformatics support and training to team members.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in a related field (Computational Biology, Population Genetics/Genomics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics).

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, R, or Perl.

Experience with single-cell and spatial data analysis tools and techniques

Deep knowledge of tumor biology and immunology.

Strong publication record.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in cloud computing and familiarity with high-performance computing environments.

Expertise in database management and seamless data integration.

Prior engagement in oncological research.

Hands-on experience with specific single-cell screening methods, including but not limited to Perturb/CROP-seq, sci-Plex, Reprogram-seq, and their counterparts.
