J&J Malaysia is currently hiring for Protege Trainees for a 12-months contract.

Protege would be placed in a structured 12 months contract in the respective division assigned.

We have multiple openings in Commercial functions (Accounting, Supply Chain, SFE) & Technical functions (Global Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Medical Affairs)

Key Responsibility:

Supply Chain PROTEGE:

Preparation of daily inventory balances and invoiced report along with release of backorders.

Perform in the daily/weekly/monthly supply chain reporting.

Perform weekly GR Mirror exercise in inventory recognition.

Perform order processing and sample conversions.

Data crunching (as and when the need arises)

Monthly template preparation for RF and S&OP meetings.

Perform Supply order IBD creation with stock redressing monitoring (As and when the need arises)

The Protégé may also need to support project or other administrative roles from time to time. This role will support end to end supply chain planning in both Malaysia and Brunei (Pharm).

Finance PROTEGE

Working closely with cross functional teams including finance, marketing, sales and supply chain to validate assumptions and commentaries provided by business, and eventually ensure recommendations provided are sound.

Assist in managing OPEX budget. Analyze, communicate and perform resource allocation so that adequate resources are invested in the optimized manner that is aligned with J&J enterprise and sectors’ strategic directions through rigorous portfolio management in the markets

Prepare analytics reports with interactive charts for business discussion on P&L review / marketing spends / sales performance.

Assist in performing root cause analysis for Gross Profit performance.

Assist in BVA (Budget vs Actual) analysis, provide analysis and commentary of country performance to regional FP&A on sales and P&L, and support monthly financial review with country Finance leader to identify areas of concerns for further analysis and action planning.

Working with country finance team to drive the preparation and validation of forecasts that incorporates impact of changes in internal and external business conditions and manage action plans to ensure financial targets are met

Assist in compliance self-testing to ensure internal process are following local SOP / SOX control requirements. Work with cross functional teams to identify any compliance gap and work on change process to close the compliance gap, if any.

Creates a culture of fact-based decision making and a value creation mindset

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required

Fresh graduates in any discipline

Minimum 2nd Upper Class and above (CGPA 3.0 and above).

Reputable and accredited university.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
