Job Position: Hotel Accountant (Full Time Position) for our Holiday Inn; working from our Head Office in Concord.
Job Location: Vaughan, ON.
We are seeking a full-time accounting candidate with superior Hotel experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable, monitor accounts and analyze operating expense. Coordinate and evaluate all reports on a monthly basis.
Ensure compliance to all procedures and review expense ledgers and assist in recovery reconciliations.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and other software pertaining to Hotel Management.
Minimum 5 years hotel accounting experience.
Strong communication, written and computer skills.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
Sound business knowledge.
Accuracy and an eye for detail.
