Why This Job – CONTRACT ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly functioning, smooth-running AP department. This team processes upwards of 4000 invoices a month and $20M in payments. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and knowledgeable. What You’ll Actually Do:

Process up to 1000 invoices per month

Manage the shared inbox for AP

Build and maintain vendor relationships

Process reconciliations and review credit card transactions and expense reports

Periodically cut checks

ad-hoc projects

Jump in and lend a hand wherever else is needed

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

2 – 5 years of high-volume, full-cycle AP experience (processing 1000 invoices/month or more)

3-way match experience

A positive, flexible attitude

Prior Sage or large ERP experience

Strong Excel (including pivot tables, xlookups, vlookups)

Prior experience working in an acquisition driven company is a huge plus

CPG industry or manufacturing experience a plus

Strong organization skills, proven ability to manage numerous projects at once

It Would Be Brilliant If You Also Have

Experience working for a company $200M in revenue or larger

A Bachelors degree is a plus

AP automation experience would be great

Where and How Much:

Hybrid – Broomfield, CO

This is a contract position through August, potential to extend

Pay is $28/hr-$32/hr, depending on experience Company Description
