Talent Acquisition Specialist - Construction Industry Recruiting - Kodiak Recruiters

Are you passionate about connecting top talent with leading construction companies? Kodiak Recruiters, with over 50 years of combined experience in staffing for the construction industry, is seeking a talented and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent, while also enhancing the employment brand of our clients in the mechanical contracting and service industry.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Kodiak Recruiters, you will:

Develop and implement recruiting strategies and social media campaigns to attract entry-level and experienced candidates.

Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns and materials.

Identify and manage talent pools for sourcing candidates, maintaining a strong talent pipeline.

Streamline candidate screening procedures, including pre-screening, interviewing, and evaluating qualifications.

Advise onboarding processes, ensuring efficient completion of administrative requirements for new hires.

Develop and maintain employee development and retention strategies.

Conduct market research and analyze recruitment data.

Consult with senior leadership on staffing budgets, employee referral programs, and employment policies.

Maintain vendor relationships for temporary recruitment and employment services.

Manage temporary employee, internship/co-op, and contract staffing programs.

Develop job descriptions and post open positions.

Prepare and analyze statistical reports to monitor applicant flow and turnover.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction, subcontracting, general contracting, or manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.

Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, database management, and office software.
