Role & responsibilities

1. Essential A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR (or SLET/SET accredited by UGC), or has been awarded Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

Ph.D. Degree preceded with First Class Bachelors & Masters Degree in the discipline with good academic record.

Evidence of actively engaged or having teaching/research experience, in a reputed organization.

5-8 years of experience in teaching/research, excluding the period spent on obtaining the research leading to Ph.D degree/academic administration, in an Academic or/and Research Institute or research Centre.

Published work of high quality with evidence of published work in the reputed peer-reviewed (Scopus/SCI/UGC listed Journals).

The work may include research papers, technical reports, book chapters/ books and/or patents filed/obtained. Effective exposure to University/Institute development plans under the guidance of senior professionals (Academician/Senior Professors/University management).

Have previous experience of the practical implementation of the knowledge acquired, with evidences, on the curriculum and program development.

Experience of guiding the project/dissertation work of under-graduate/post graduate or research students and/or supervising R & D projects.
