General Manager (Mining)

Relevant qualification e.g. B Eng/ Mining/ Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ similar (MBA is highly advantageous)

Proven experience within the mining industry in a similar senior management role (e.g. GM/ Mine Manager etc.)

Experience within Chrome and/or Platinum mining operations

Extensive experience with contractors and stakeholder relations (DMRE, Communities, local municipalities, SAPS, etc.)

Working knowledge of Mining right requirements and compliance

Solid understanding of the relevant legislation including MRPDA, MH&SA, LRA, BCEA, EE, SDA etc.

Hands on, results driven, passionate professional with solid leadership and strategic thinking skills
