Project Coordinator

Job Description

J.R. Vinagro is currently seeking a Project Coordinator with at least 1-2 years of experience working in the environmental and/or demolition field, experience with asbestos is a plus. This full time (M-F) in office position has minimal travel and great work/life flexibility.

The project coordinator will be an essential member of the team, assisting in administrative, organizational, communications, and operational activities. This person will provide professional administrative support and serve as a key resource for the project manager and abatement crew.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

Maintain project submittals until final approval is received, including work plans, change orders, RFI’s.

Submit and track notifications to local and federal agencies for each project.

Track time and material jobs and work with Project Manager to generate invoice.

Receive and process waste shipment records, reconcile with projects and send to appropriate parties.

Create project binder.

Generate closeout packages when the project is complete.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Payroll Entry

Enter payroll weekly for the abatement crew.

Reconcile hours for supervisors.

Track time off for supervisors.

Administration

Maintain office and office supplies.

Track employee paperwork and keep everything up to date.

Process new hires and returning employee paperwork.

Assist employees with scheduling training and license renewals.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of administrative/project management experience working in the environmental and/or demolition field, experience with asbestos is a plus but not required.

Strong computer skills required.

Bilingual a plus but not required.

Ability to work independently, assess priorities and organize workload.

Excellent communication skills required.

Ability to multitask required.
