Teaching Technologist

About Our Opportunity:

In this position, you will provide instructional and operational services for course delivery and direct students with projects. Develop and deliver classroom, project, and laboratory-based instruction. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for instruction delivery. You will also prepare and maintain experiments, order supplies and equipment, train lab personnel, and deliver course-learning materials. Develop and deliver training for course teaching assistants.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Veterinary Nursing.

Two years of experience teaching college-level life sciences or related experience.

The ability to perform diagnostic parasitology and microbiology assays.

Strong oral and written communication.

Organization skills.

Working knowledge of laboratory practices and biohazards.

Knowledge of animal bacteria, fungi, and parasites.

Computer skills, including those required for preparation and electronic delivery of teaching materials.

Preferred:

Teaching experience in college-level microbiology or parasitology.
