HIM Coder (Per diem)

Job Description

Rome Health is looking for a PER DIEM Coder to join their HIM department! The HIM Coder is responsible for responsible for coding discharged patient encounters which could include impatient, observation, skilled nursing and the ER. You will be part of a coding team that is experienced, dedicated, and solid.

Associates or bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge of Medical terminology

Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT),

Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
