Engineer (Civil)

Are you a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of civil engineering experience? If so, we would like to talk with you. The role entails the analysis and design of public improvement projects, including roads, roadways, storm sewer lines, and traffic lights.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and design public improvement projects, ensuring compliance with specifications.

Provide technical information to contractors and the public regarding engineering projects.

Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings to contribute valuable insights.

Develop designs and specifications for capital construction projects, detailing required capacity, location, materials, and construction methods.

Utilize pavement management software for inspections and prioritization of the 20-year paving schedule for township roads.

Review construction permit applications for compliance with township ordinances and regulations.

Qualifications:

4+ years of civil engineering experience, including capital construction projects.

Knowledge of GIS or a willingness to learn with on-the-job training.

Engineering in Training Certificate (EIT) is helpful.

Experience with Military roads and roadways or related projects is accepted.

Must be authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
