CNC Mill Operator

Small, well established machine shop in Sunnyvale seeking CNC mill operator(s). Set up experience a plus. 40 hours/week. Day and night shifts with overtime as needed.

Must be able to set up and operate FANUC controlled machinery including Mori Seiki mills and HAAS mills. Responsible for running parts per customer specifications. Looking for someone who works well with others in a team like environment, is detail oriented, and able to multi-task. Must be organized and dependable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Reading job cards for job to be run.

2. Reading customer drawings/prints.

3. Running machinery per customer specifications.

4. Inspecting parts and filling out inspection reports.

5. Communicate with other machinists in the shop and from other shifts.

6. Clean and maintain work area/tools.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform back-up for shipping and receiving department as necessary.

2. Order tools and shop supplies when necessary.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

2. Experience using FANUC controlled machinery.

3. Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.

4. Must be able to keep multiple machines running.
