ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Director Capture Management to support our Civilian Division under the Civilian and Health Operating Group.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Development for Civilian and Health (C&H) Operating group, this individual will work with other internal leaders and functional teams to develop and lead capture efforts across the Civilian market space.

This individual will employ best practices to lead Capture related activities from Qualify through Proposal Submit stage.

The position is remote, but periodic travel to ASRC HQ located in Reston, Virginia will be required.

Key Responsibilities: The Capture Manager’s primary responsibility is to successfully lead and own applicable steps in the business development lifecycle to incrementally improve win probability and position the organization to craft a compelling technical and pricing solution while identifying and managing risk.

This position requires a unique blend of business development, project management, tactical and strategic skills.

Candidates must demonstrate a successful record of sales strategy, teaming strategy, partner management, competitive intelligence, and working in a collaborative and diverse environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in the management of multiple concurrent capture projects throughout the entire lifecycle from qualification to award.

Other Responsibilities * Develop and maintain capture plans, action tracking, including opportunity qualification, agency research, competitive intelligence/assessment, and partner assessment.

* Present, inform and persuade high-level internal and external customers/partners of the company's understanding of customer needs and requirements, business development and capture plans, strategies, and actions.

* Work collaboratively with multiple functional teams of the larger ASRC Federal enterprise, to include other Operating Groups, shared services, the Chief Technology Office and the ASRC Federal Senior Leadership Team to ensure to ensure bids are adequately resourced and supported.

* Participate/lead in bid decisions, development of cost strategies and phase/gate reviews * Analyze RFIs and RFPs in concert with partners and preparing questions for the customer * Develop the value proposition and win strategy and shape it to the customer's needs.

* Interface with industry peers and evaluate/recommend teaming arrangements * Participate in Orals preparation and coaching * Participate in customer and partner presentations, as well as internal capture briefs * Contribute to knowledge capture and management helping to improve the company’s overall capture processes.

* Participate in B&P planning as well as overhead budgets.

Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline.

* Minimum of 15 years of relevant and proven Capture experience.

* Must be a US citizen.

* Working knowledge of the Civilian or National Security space.

* Strong leadership skills.

* Has a working knowledge and practical application of Capture best practices including developing overall win strategy; shaping deals with customers, developing teaming strategies, identifying and secure teaming partners; understanding pricing and assist in developing winning price.

* Demonstrated success in leading and winning large competitive contracts.

* Possess versatile and persuasive written and presentation communication skills.

* Experience with or knowledge of IT services.

* Knowledge of Government contracting, current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors.

* Experience in B&P budget management.

* Proven experience leading large geographically diverse teams; strong coaching and mentoring skills; ability to achieve results through others.
