Job Details

Responsibilities:

Create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.

Make revisions and maintain existing 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.

Clone or revise drawings based on sketches and verbal instructions.

Work on special projects, as required to support design and drafting requirements.

Perform dimensional fit checks.

Create Layouts, drawings, charts, graphs, or diagrams based on information provided by engineering and operational staff.

Interface with the manufacturing team to ensure that drawings reflect design for manufacturing best practices.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree or higher in a science or technical discipline from an accredited institution

5+ years of experience in the O&G industry working in component design, including specification of design requirements, design development support

Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning & tolerance)

Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM

Experience with SolidWorks Admin a plus
