We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, musculoskeletal physiotherapist to work within our team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good organisation, time management, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.

As an MSK physiotherapist, you shall be assessing and treating patients referred into outpatient departments within the Borders. You will be based in Borders General Hospital, Melrose.

The post holder will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems in outpatients. You shall work as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate packages of care, providing specialist clinical / professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals. You will provide clinical supervision to rotational junior staff and students on placements. Opportunities for personal development are encouraged with access to our IST training.

The post holder will contribute to service development to improve quality of healthcare through liaison with your Line Manager.
