Description

Leads general Human Resources practices, objectives, and initiatives that will add value to the fast-paced, high-performing and employee orientated culture of Med-Metrix. An emphasis is placed on results orientated customer service.

Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for the HR Generalist function of Human Resource operations including proper documentation and communication of all HR general policies and procedures. Be the point of escalation for employee tickets through the shared email group.

Partner with the Operational leaders to provide senior level support regarding various generalist topics such as employee relations, performance management, development opportunities, organizational design, compensation, reward and recognition.

Review employment law relevant to the operations and functions of the organization. Notify appropriate stakeholders, recommend policy and/or procedural changes as appropriate and ensure overall compliance.

Review all involuntary termination support documentation to ensure that appropriate due diligence was performed prior to proceeding with termination.

Review introductory surveys, stay interviews and exit interviews and consolidate results. Make recommendations as applicable for changes in process, procedure, or initiatives to enhance the employee experience.

Ensure employee data is entered and maintained appropriately in the designated HRIS and is reported in a consistent and efficient manner to Enterprise Leadership.

Drive the annual performance and compensation processes. Including ensuring executive leadership is informed, trained, and compliant as well as all recommendations reflect current market conditions and Enterprise objectives. Make recommendations on methodology and best practice as appropriate.

Align recruitment needs with operational requirements and ensure timely and accurate placement of employees. Strategize with operational leaders on skills and levels required, develop job descriptions and provide market data as needed.

Provide frequent and comprehensive feedback on recruitment progress to operational partners and Enterprise Leaders. Foster relationships with various staffing agencies and educational centers (colleges/universities/trade programs).

Complete and oversee the new employee onboarding process.

Assist in the development and roll out of leadership and development initiatives that enhance the employee experience and reflect the needs of the operational teams.

Ensure employee payroll is processed in a timely manner.

Create checks and balances to ensure accuracy of payroll including, sign-on bonuses, performance bonuses, referral bonuses, separation pay, and final pay calculations.

Ensure employee time off balances are calculated and recorded in an appropriate manner.

Participate in the annual budget process. Ensuring details are accurate and provided in a timely manner.

Administer employee benefit plans in a fair and equitable manner. Partner with broker to elect benefits in line with market norms that also enhance the employee experience.

Lead employee engagement activities to foster a collaborative and team oriented culture that values employee contributions and motivates employees in the fast paced and results driven environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in a Human Resources role with progressive leadership responsibilities and a minimum of 5 years in a Generalist role.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel

Exemplary interpersonal skills

Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Strong organizational skills and exacting attention to detail
