Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our company's fleet of vehicles. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient utilization of vehicles, managing a team of drivers and mechanics, and implementing strategies to improve fleet performance and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of fleet management best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's fleet operations, including vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and fuel efficiency.

2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including dispatching vehicles, coordinating routes, and managing driver schedules.

3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, including vehicle inspections, driver certifications, and licensing requirements.

4. Manage a team of drivers and mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.

5. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure vehicles, parts, and services at competitive prices.

6. Monitor fleet performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, customers, and regulatory agencies.

8. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, detailing fleet performance, expenditures, and recommendations for improvement.

9. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in fleet management, and recommend innovations and technologies to enhance operations.

10. Respond to emergencies and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner, coordinating repairs and recovery efforts to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in fleet management, with a minimum of [X] years in a supervisory or managerial role.

3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
