This exciting role offers opportunity to:

Lead and execute various new product development projects for Aerospace application. Additional responsibilities include executing application engineering, VAVE and B&P projects, while driving continuous improvement to meet project and business KPIs and ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction.

Execute technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments as per project scope. An additional responsibility of managing the project/program financials, as appropriate.

Apply robust design methodologies for decision making - DFSS, LEAN, DMAIC.

Know-how of aerospace product testing and qualification - DO160 and failure investigation, FRACA (RCA, FTA, 8D)

Execute IPT leadership across the project(s). Seek team input to promote a rapid resolution to issues. Provide feedback on performance indicators.

Handle all communication with stakeholders regarding the work in hand and coordinate all related activities to complete the projects.

Manage effective customer communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication & managing customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.

Play a key role in developing business proposals and executing the overall program plan. Handle RFI/RFP/RFQ process by providing engineering inputs to customer inquiries, creating solutions and estimating materials, testing costs, and engineering NRE

Qualifications

Requirement –

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace Engineering

BE/B.Tech with 7+ years of engineering/product design experience in relevant domain Or ME/M.Tech with 4+ years of engineering/product design experience in relevant domain

Skills

Experience of new product design, development, testing and qualification

Knowledge of product life-cycle and working with cross-functional teams

Proficiency in one or more CAD tools; preferably CATIA and experience with PLM tool

Experience of modeling and drafting in accordance with ASME Y14.100 and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5M-1982 or newer

Experienced in using DFSS tools such as DFMEA, DVP, DoE etc to mature product design

Problem solving skills

Hard working ability and desire for excellence in executing projects

Strong & effective communication skills (written and oratory)

Lead the creation of the integrated project plans & schedules, project budget in partnership with the team and the organization. Manage, forecast, collect cost, and report on project budget/schedule

Preferred:

Experience in design of conveyance / aerospace products

In depth understanding of manufacturing processes

DFSS GB Certification
