Paralegal - Civil Litigation and Transactional

I am currently partnering with a firm that is seeking a paralegal with 4+ years civil litigation and transactional experience to join their Business, General Litigation, and Real Estate practice groups.

Background:

Assists attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions involving both individual clients and businesses, including initial drafting of contracts and closing binders, title policies, loan documents and UCC searches.

Assists attorneys in preparation of depositions; prepares witness files; prepares and serves Notice(s) of Deposition; coordinates schedules with court reporters and videographers.

Drafts standard procedural pleadings; maintains correspondence and pleadings files.

Performs legal research; compiles, analyzes, and presents findings; obtains information/ documents from various courts, government agencies, libraries, and other outside resources.

Assists with trial preparation; maintains case calendars, case files, and trial/case notebookss

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required

Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
