Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant - Back Office to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your duties will include performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our occupational medicine clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Performing basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and administering medications
Assisting our providers with drug testing, physical evaluations, drawing blood samples and other clinical duties
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the back office and exam rooms
Interact in a positive and constructive manner
Providing patient education and answering patient questions
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and ethical standards
Be at work and be on time
Follow company policies, procedures, and directives
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the practice
Assisting with medical procedures as neededRequirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a medical assistant preferred
Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications

Hourly Rate Range: $18.00-$22.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
