We are seeking a highly experienced IT Manager to oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with extensive experience in managing both operational and strategic IT initiatives within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
· Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
· Defining the IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
· Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
· Efficient and accurate IT asset management.
· Managing IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
· Evaluating technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
· Administering and supporting core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, and VMware technologies.
· Assisting with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations.
· Ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical host computer resources.
· Cooperating with Internal Audit Management to improve the management system generally.
· Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
· Analyzing business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
· Supporting the implementation, development, and maintenance of InfoSec & Cyber Security policies, standards, and guidelines in alignment with applicable laws, common security frameworks, and leading practices as per organizational requirements.
Required Skills:
· Master's/bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a degree preferred in Computers, IT, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
· At least 6-10 years of relevant experience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Past experience must demonstrate exposure to all major operational and strategic IT infrastructure matters in an IT/ITES/Tech organization.
· Ability to handle systemic issues, monitor system performance, assist audits, and resolve ongoing issues with urgency.
· Strong leadership abilities, capable of developing and guiding teams with minimal supervision.
· Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, Data Centres, etc.
· Technology certifications including but not limited to Infosec, Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, etc.
· Strong knowledge of multiple technologies including but not limited to Servers, Virtualization, VMware, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, SAN, TCPIP, Office365, UTM, Endpoint Protection, wireless LAN, Citrix, etc.
· Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
· Experience in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
· Flexibility in traveling as and when needed, both domestic and overseas.
· Strong logical and analytical skills.
· Self-driven with the ability to work under pressure.
· Able to work independently or as part of a team.
