Responsibilities:

The successful candidate uses principles of systems engineering to support applicable requirements. Builds, analyzes, and manages a system or multiple systems be they electrical, mechanical, chemical, biological, or one involving business processes and logistics. Manages and monitors active systems and infrastructure and supports the installation, configuration, integration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and systems management tools. Installs, configures, integrates, tests, and maintains operating systems, application software, and system management tools. In addition to the above, the Systems Engineer includes support for requirements related to the development of tools, systems, and processes for various technologies.

The roles and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to the following:

Support Sponsor projects by providing technical forensic experience and guidance to ensure the projects comply with Sponsor policy and regulation while fulfilling the Sponsor's operational needs.

Provide insight into latest threats and countermeasures.

Evaluate technical operations using management platforms, auditing functions, and log reviews.

Review procurement processes of hardware, software and/or services to comply with operational needs.

Provide recommendations for end-to-end technical analysis.

Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

Conducting in-depth research on a wide range of non-public records and/or IC data holdings.

Self-starter and independent worker with strong research, analytic, and critical thinking skill.

Ability to examine and synthesize large amounts of information in a timely manner, identify relevant issues.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability work in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Desire, expertise, and skills to provide technical support in one or more of a wide range of technologies to include AI, software/firmware, hardware, networks, etc.

Working knowledge of the security and CI concerns for various technologies

Experience designing, developing, or deploying customized technical solutions for the Sponsor's unique mission.

Ability to identify mission needs and foster creative and viable approaches to technical problems.

Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast paced environment with a willingness to assist and support teams with evolving requirements and objectives.

Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.

Ability to rapidly and effectively analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, work several tasks concurrently, efficiently manage a high volume of emails, and develop fluency with online tracking tools.

Proven ability to work independently while also coordinating, collaborating, and liaising with appropriate stakeholders.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with officers at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking ability to take action to execute mission by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise.

Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.

Extensive experience preparing briefings and documentation for all levels of audiences.

Ability to translate technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.

Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience.

Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
