$500 sign-on bonus + week PTO to start

We are looking for full-time residential & commercial painters that bring some prior industry experience & are looking for a career rather than just a job. Our ideal candidate has been painting for a while and is either looking to take the next step in their painting career, or has led crews before and wants a company with more growth opportunities.

Job Description:

At Burge Painting - we are a small painting company so the role would be a hybrid painter/crew leader. The details of the role include:

General knowledge of the process of interior / exterior painting & willingness to tailor process to specific jobs

Ability to handle basic painting tasks (brushing / rolling / prep / etc.) at a high level to perform jobs on your own or to oversee jobs

Willingness to lead 1-3 additional painters to complete projects with little to no supervision aside from occasional check-ins

Additional characteristics of an ideal candidate!

(Minimum) 1 Year proven, PROFESSIONAL painting experience

Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle/Transportation

Working Cell Phone

Ability to pass background check & drug screening

Strong communication skills & a teamwork approach to painting (no task is above or below any of our painters)

Conscientious mentality with great attention to detail

A basic knowledge & experience of drywall & wood preparation & repair

Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.

Ability to cut straight consistent lines, roll w/ 9” and 18” rollers
