Description:

About Us:

At Orchard Mental Health Group (OMHG), we are committed to fostering a culture of care that embodies our core values: positivity, respect, and responsiveness; insight and integrity; diversity and development; empathy and empowerment. Our dedicated team works diligently to support and empower our clients, providing them with the highest quality mental health services. Since 2015, OMHG ( has been providing exceptional and comprehensive mental health services in the DMV area, offering inclusive, comprehensive, multilingual, accessible, and professional research-informed treatments. We are looking for passionate Clinical Psychologists and Advanced Psychometricians to join our team of over 60 clinicians (and growing) and contribute to our mission of promoting mental health and well-being in our community. The candidate must be eligible to be a psychology associate in Maryland and, in addition, we welcome early career and seasoned clinicians.

While we are fortunate enough to have a dynamic team of brilliant and compassionate mental health professionals at OMHG, we also admit that providing great service is often accompanied with unforeseen challenges and every day is not perfect. While we are open to considering all outstanding candidates, as diversity of skills and experiences strengthen a team, we only welcome and sustain relationships with those whose mission, vision, and values consistently mirror our own. Teammates who tend to be happiest here are confident but humble life-long learners who value team feedback and collaboration.

Clinical Psychologists with a passion for assessments to conduct 8 comprehensive batteries per month, primarily for children and adolescents, are our ideal candidates. Typical referrals are for ADHD, LD, and Autism differential diagnosis, but unique opportunities exist for pre-surgical evaluations of bariatric and chronic pain patients. The practice provides a full library of testing equipment with automated scoring. Advanced Psychometricians will work under the supervision of our Assessment Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized tests, to diagnose mental health conditions.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect our core values, particularly focusing on empowering clients through positive psychology and strength-based approaches.

Provide evidence-based psychological therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or others, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Foster an environment of respect and understanding, ensuring a responsive approach to clients' concerns and feedback.

Act with insight and integrity, ensuring confidentiality and ethical treatment of all clients.

Engage in continuous professional development, embracing diversity in both our team and the populations we serve, with a commitment to understanding and valuing different perspectives.

Demonstrate empathy in all interactions, empowering clients to take active roles in their treatment and recovery processes.

Qualifications:

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.

Licensed to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in MD.

Proven experience in clinical psychology, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to our core values, with a passion for promoting mental health and well-being.

We Offer:

A supportive and positive work environment with a flexible schedule that encourages personal and professional growth.

Opportunities for ongoing professional development and training in the latest psychological therapies and approaches.

Competitive salary and benefits package, including generous paid leave, health insurance and retirement plans.

A diverse team of professionals dedicated to inclusivity and empowerment in mental health care.
