Technical Lead (0251186)

Collaborates with business stakeholders and product owners to identify, analyze, and profile operational data to set data standards for quality and completeness. Establishes and leads all aspects of data dictionaries, catalogs, data-flow-diagrams, measures, metadata, and quality KPIs. In partnership with Data & Analytics Leadership Committee, strategizes, plans, prioritizes, schedules, and contributes to the development of appropriate tools to assess, monitor, and implement data control points to meet defined SLAs for security, data integrity, and data quality – aka a meta-driven, configurable Data Quality Framework with capabilities to report on data control points across our data platform, which includes SQL, NOSQL, structured, and unstructured data in a multi-cloud hybrid footprint. Oversees, advises, and authorizes the creation, design, development, and implementation/delivery of comprehensive end-to-end integration testing plans and their execution, while communicating the impact of system changes to key partners. Utilizes implemented data quality tools and standards. Leads and ensures consistency to data standards and policies through identification, categorization, and prioritization of data quality opportunities. In partnership with Data & Analytics Leadership Committee, drives improvements in quality through data fixes, systematic improvements in systems/applications, or business process and behavioral changes. Utilizes implemented data catalogs and provides appropriately secure access to data to business and IT communities and drives improvements in data, enriching data with augmented attribution to increase data usage. Assists data engineers and visualization engineers in building data visualizations of business processes and business outcomes/KPIs utilizing quality data. Incidental domestic travel only. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of IT experience (or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of IT experience). Must have experience with: mining information and data management in the retail industry; data analysis and discovery; detecting data anomalies, trends, and gaps; database architecture; SQL; NOSQL; large-scale data platforms in a multi-cloud hybrid footprint; automating data validations; data reconciliation between desperate data sources including relational and NoSQL databases like MongoDB; integration quality frameworks with CI/CD pipelines; Kafka; Databricks; Azure; ESB; Selenium; software delivery leveraging agile and lean practices at scale; and working with and leading onshore and offshore resources.
