Qlikview/PowerBI Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Qlikview/PowerBI Specialist to join our team in Durban on a 3-month basis, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance modelling and proficiency in developing dashboards using software tools such as QlikView and PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain financial models to support various business operations and decision-making processes.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable financial models and dashboards.

Design, build, and implement interactive dashboards using QlikView and PowerBI to visualize key financial metrics and trends.

Perform data analysis to identify insights and trends, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial models and dashboards by implementing proper validation and verification procedures.

Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize financial models and dashboards.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in finance modelling and data visualization technologies.

Requirements:

Proven track record in finance modelling, with at least 5+ of relevant experience.

Proficiency in using software tools such as QlikView and PowerBI to develop interactive dashboards.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
