Technical Project Manager

A market leading organisation are looking to add a Technical Project Manager to their growing design team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

This company design and manufacture a range of detection-based safety technologies that are sold all over the UK. These products are used within the consumer electronics industry and they are looking to add a Technical Project Manager to their Engineering team.

Key responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager job:

Manage the delivery of multiple projects covering the electronic, software and mechanical development of safety critical products

Own and manage projects, ensuring they're delivered within allocated timeframes and budgets to deliver high quality products

Combine both traditional and Agile project management methodologies

Support the development and rollout of related processes and frameworks

Key skills / experience required for the Technical Project Manager job:

Experience of product development and manufacturing

Knowledge of project management methods (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM etc.)

Experience of resource planning, managing budgets and prioritisation and experience producing and presenting reports, project plans, budgets and forecasts.

Experience of working in a highly regulated environment would be beneficial
