Experienced/ New Hire: Experienced (2-3 Years)

Education Desired: Graduate

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide analytical support and techniques to solve exceptionally difficult technical problems in financial programs.

Examine documents, records, and accounting reports and processes to ensure conformance with generally accepted accounting principles, operating procedures, and revised regulations.

Perform various accounting functions, including:

Accounts receivables

Reimbursable accounting

Cost accounting

Record all accounting transactions.

Monitor cash activity daily.

Prepare timely and accurate monthly Net Asset Values (NAVs), yields, distributions, and other fund accounting output for subsequent review.

Accurately record securities transactions and corporate actions.

Identify exceptions and variances affecting accounting records and communicate them to management for resolution.

Key Skills Required:

Proficiency in investment partnerships, corporate actions, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and other comprehensive bases of accounting.

Familiarity with fund accounting systems and regulations.

Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience: Prior experience in fund accounting is desirable.
