Job Description
A growing and innovative multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Engineer to their Columbus team!
Responsibilities:
Managing engineering design/construction plans for transportation related infrastructure projects
Project management for roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering project
Project manager responsibilities including scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Project tasks include roadway design, bridge design, maintenance of traffic and construction phasing, signing, pavement markings, ITS and traffic signal design, utility design and coordination, drainage and erosion control among the many disciplines
Coordinate engineering/technical support staff (including subconsultants)
Serve as liaison between clients and project team.
Provides technical input and assistance in the coordination of information between departments
Requirements:
BS in Civil Engineering
8+ years of related work experience
Ohio PE License
Project/staff management experience on highway projects
Background working on roadway, bridge, or traffic engineering projects
Established relationship with Ohio Department of Transportation other clients in the region
Knowledge/working relationship with local/regional contractors
Proficient in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D for design/drafting to produce plans and deliver 3D models
Salary is commensurate with experience.
