Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates and tends plant equipment and auxiliaries within his area of responsibility based on the plant’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Performs preventive and minor corrective maintenance activities according to approved standards.

Records operating parameters at specified intervals and reports abnormal conditions of power plant equipment in his area of responsibility.

Assesses job hazard and provides mitigating measures.

Collaborates with the maintenance group for the safe and efficient implementation of preventive / corrective maintenance work orders, semi-annual / annual preventive maintenance activities, and minor / major overhauling works.

Assists in the testing of installed, repaired, overhauled plant electrical equipment facilities to ensure its quality and reliability.

Renders emergency work-hours to ensure the plant is adequately manned.

Participates in the implementation of the Company’s Quality, Environment, Safety and Health programs

Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualification Requirements:

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Graduate

At least 2 years relevant working experience
