Job Description

This is an on-the-job training role designed for imaging team members who are pursuing a specialty within Nuclear Medicine. The position is responsible for performing high quality procedures using independent decision making and problem-solving skills to obtain the best possible images. The incumbent will become proficient in all aspects of patient care and the use of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Qualifications-

-Successful completion of formal RT training from an ARRT-approved school.

-Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT or registry eligible. SCRQSA Certification required. Must meet continuing education requirements. Current CPR certification required.

-Must obtain registration within 2 years of moving into this job if specialty area requires a registry.
