Job Title: MFG Maintenance Technician

Job Location: Orlando, FL

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $25-$32 (Based on experience) + Quarterly Bonus that adds up to a potential 10%

Shift Structure: Rotating days *2-2-3 days* 12 hrs. Shift

Day Shift: 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m./Night Shift: 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to ensure the availability and function of plant machinery and auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance and responding to troubleshooting and/or repair needs in a timely manner.

General Responsibilities:

Monitor and complete preventive maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment. (Injection Molding Machines, Extruders, Robots, Air Compressors, Vacuum Conveying Systems, Process Cooling Systems, HVAC, Fire Suppression, and Alarm Systems.)

Perform all responsibilities with a strong commitment to safety, and in alignment with established SOPs, Work Instructions, and Company Values.

Respond, troubleshoot, and perform emergency repair work on manufacturing equipment in a timely manner, based on priority established by management.

Report the status of repair jobs promptly to the Maintenance Manager.

Complete assigned maintenance tasks to support process improvement and other engineering-led activities.

Support and recommend improvement to the preventive maintenance program.

Utilize CMMS to manage workflow and enter work order feedback.

Identify and communicate all needs toward maintaining spare parts inventory.

Repair all building issues following standards.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of high school, or equivalent.

Mechanical and electrical tool experience (hand wrenches, torque, caliper, pipe wrenches, power tools, air tools, hydraulic tools)

Understanding of mechanical assemblies (conveyors, sprockets, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps)

Knowledge of electrical components (480V/220V, fuses, relays, contactors, motors)

Knowledge of pneumatic conveying and troubleshooting (controls, actuators, or valves)

Ability to read Hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting.

Understand hydraulic components for presses up to 5000 psi.

Understand electrical schematics for troubleshooting circuits of 480VAC, 120VAC and 24VDC.

General facilities maintenance experience

Ability to handle assignments with little or no supervision, take initiative to learn new skills, and support other team members.

Additional skills desired (not required): PLC Programming, welding, machine shop skills, understanding of the Injection molding process, associate degree, or credits from a technical college.
