Job Summary:
As an experienced Draftsperson, you will play a critical role in our design and drafting department, providing detailed drafting support for a wide range of projects. With a focus on quality and efficiency, you will leverage your knowledge of the Australian environment to ensure our designs meet local standards and sustainability practices.
Job Description:
Develop detailed drawings for construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, with a focus on Australian environmental considerations.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and plans.
Utilize CAD and other related software to create accurate and detailed work drawings.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
Modify and revise designs to meet project requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
Manage documentation and maintain project drawing files, archives, and databases.
Stay up-to-date with new drafting techniques, building codes, and legislation affecting the industry.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills needed:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Draftsperson proficient in 3D CAD modeling within the construction industry, architectural metalwork, or metal fabrication, preferably with experience in the Australian environment.
Strong proficiency in Onshape preferred. Experience with Solidworks and Inventor is a plus.
Familiarity with Australian building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (AEST) 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time
