Anduril’s Air Dominance & Strike Mission Autonomy team is seeking a Software Program Manager. This engineer will work on Fury, our high-performance, multi-mission group 5 autonomous air vehicle (AAV) initiative. Your efforts will ensure that the software powering Fury will work seamlessly to achieve a variety of critical outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

We are hiring a Software Program Management engineer to work across integrated product teams and along with our government partners, make sure our teams are on track to exceed our customers expectations and goals.

You will:

Work with a diverse team of systems engineers, software engineers, and mechanical / electrical engineers to define and build a software-first integration environment for unmanned Missile systems.

Develop a strong understanding of the customer CONOP and the important technical requirements of each of the software subsystems necessary to achieve this goal. The person will need to be able to create the schedule and communicate the technical status to government subject matter experts, including technical status Q&A.

Develop good working relationships with engineering and program leadership on several different IPT/functional teams.

Develop a good tech-lead relationship with multiple software engineers and other software engineering tech-leads. Generally, successful software engineering managers have been very hands-on and quite technical.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

High ownership and autonomy across the end-to-end lifecycle of software development.

At least 3+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.

Past software engineering experience. Ideally as an IC and manager.

Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.

Must be a U.S. Person because of required access to U.S. export controlled information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Past government program execution experience. Familiarity with the expectations around government deliverables for software programs is helpful.

Past experience with missile systems software.

Past experience delivering WOSA-compliant (Weapon Open Systems Architecture) (or just any WOSA experience familiarity).Past experience with Mission Planning and existing software (eg: JMPS).

A bias towards rapid delivery and iteration.

US Salary Range

$154,000—$231,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
