Job Overview

The Product Engineer plays a pivotal role within our Indonesian product team, contributing to our collective goal of developing a comprehensive understanding of Fluke T&M equipment and market dynamics. Leveraging this expertise, the Product Engineer is responsible for providing exceptional support to both existing and prospective customers, aiding them in the effective utilisation and troubleshooting of their equipment and processes.

Key responsibilities include leveraging deep product and application knowledge to assist customers via remote channels and on-site visits where necessary. Additionally, the Product Engineer actively identifies and capitalises on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to further meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

· Provide complete technical and product support to aid end users and channel partners across 1Fluke portfolio;

· Concisely document, troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network information;

· Acting as principle theoretical and practical technical product specialist;

· Assessing and addressing technical risks;

· Provide an exceptional customer experience and resolve technical customer queries during calls, emails, chat, on-site (where applicable) and addressing customer escalations;

· Collaborate with the regional and global support teams to support product launches/development etc;

· Offer solutions and resolve product/technical issues, and transition call/enquiries to a sales opportunity, including upselling/cross selling (where applicable);

· Support with product training, customer presentations and attendance of trade events to assist funnel generation;

· Implement routine price reviews to identify price opportunities and implement global and regional strategies;

· Supporting with building a competitive knowledge database that allow generation and maintenance of price/performance maps;

· Assisting with interpreting market demand/sizing and competitive analysis reports;

· Provie product and customer intel to support Product, Sales & Marketing teams driving company strategy;

· Oversee the compilation and, when necessary, the drafting of high-quality proposals, bids, and tender answers to ensure that tenders and bids are handled professionally, quickly, and compliantly;

· Conduct voice of the customer research to understand driven threats and unmet customer needs;

· Participation in relevant industry events to drive demand generation and sales conversion;

· Supporting line manager to identify opportunities for growth through daily activities;

· Support with an ad hoc requests if needed;

· Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in an Electrical technical field is essential.

· Marketing knowledge and experience are highly desired with a flair for analysis, research and customer service.

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), professionalism and a desire to close the deal on sales.

Ability to multitask, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
