Waggles Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art pet resort in Wheeling, Illinois. We seek to enhance the lives of pets and families by offering high-quality dog daycare, lodging, and spa services in a fun, professional atmosphere.

We seek initiative-taking professionals to join our team and help us redefine the standard for pet care in the Chicagoland area.

Reservation Specialist Overview:

Our client relations team serves as the primary interface between our company and our valued clients, shaping the Waggles experience from start to finish.

We aim to cultivate a client experience founded on trust, clear communication, and genuine satisfaction. We seek an experienced client relations specialist to enhance our front-of-house team and provide dynamic customer care to every Waggles client.

We are looking for individuals who excel in communicating effectively. Proficiency in handling diverse client interactions, whether face-to-face, over the phone or written, is essential.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to navigate various customer personalities gracefully while effectively managing and resolving different situations.

Our ideal candidate would be able to learn and understand multiple business areas and communicate this knowledge clearly and enthusiastically to our customers.

Responsibilities and duties:

Manage client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication, providing accurate and timely information

about services and pet care.

Effectively utilize and accurately record client information and details in multiple databases.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the business to communicate its different

components to clients effectively.

Collaborate daily with the resort team to understand the dog’s day and relay that information to clients.

Proactively suggest additional services to clients that complement the well-being of their dog.

Respond promptly and courteously to client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

Uphold the Waggles brand image and values, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive client relationships.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in conveying information clearly and effectively through verbal and written channels.

Demonstrated ability to listen and comprehend client needs and concerns actively.

Ability to foster positive relationships and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Demonstrates empathy and understanding in interactions with clients and colleagues.

Prioritizes client satisfaction and demonstrates a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Highly motivated and proactive in taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.

Exhibits initiative and follows through on tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

Rapidly adapts to new technology and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Comfortable learning and utilizing various software and systems to support client interactions.

Capable of making independent decisions confidently when necessary.

Willingness to seek supervisory guidance or input when facing complex situations or uncertainties.

Schedule / Location:

Business hours with clients visiting the resort. are Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 9am to 5pm.

We prefer candidates to be available one weekend day per week.

The role is designed to be full-time.

Compensation:

$16 - $17 / hour
