Job Type- Full time-Permanent

Job Summary:

The Asset Management Specialist will work in the warehouse/distribution center in IDC and handle computer assets and peripherals. Typical duties include (not complete list):

Receiving, processing, and unpacking goods, signing for packages, preparing computer kits for distribution, updating inventory records, counting boxes, and reporting on and basic troubleshooting of defective goods (RMA).

Operating manual and electronic documents, files, and records (shipping accounts, barcoding, inventory, monthly inventory reporting, electronic delivery logs, incoming shipments, etc.) to properly document activities, provide material and reliable resource information. Ensure proper records keeping as required.

Utilizing asset management tools such as bar code & PDA scanners to perform inventory operations.

Providing outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail, completing assigned work in a timely manner, and maintaining an efficient and effective work environment.

Performing other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Asset Management Team.

Maintaining a detailed and accurate log of all items shipped, received, or moved within the area of responsibility.

Managing on-site assets.

Preferred to be able to operate heavy-load movement equipment. (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, chassis lifts)

Skills and Qualifications:

Good communication skills and strong learning skills.

Must have a business level proficiency in English.

Preferred: Norwegian language skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems.

Must be able and willing to learn new systems.

Education: Associate Degree and above. (High School Diploma "Leaving Cert" required only)

2+ year(s) experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment,

Inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
