A Customer Service Representative liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care. Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care

Uses software systems to communicate effectively; keeps a record of all patient contacts

Maintains strong working knowledge of products and services offered by company

Maintains patient files as specified in company policy

Answers phone calls, returns voicemails, routes calls to proper team members, and corresponds with patients via email

Ensures complete and accurate patient registration, including demographics and insurance information

Performs referral operations such as order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior authorization, and scheduling

Ensures that referrals and other patient requests are addressed or processed in a timely manner

Identifies patient needs or desires to recommend appropriate products or services

Works with teammates to resolve customer complaints. Escalates complaints to leadership when necessary.

Provides feedback to leaders to help improve business practices; assists in creating ways to deliver excellent customer service

About You ---

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years customer service experience

Previous healthcare experience preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
