Staff Accountant

Job Description

Famiglio & Associates needs staff accountants for our busy and continually growing full service CPA firm.

You must be self motivated, fast paced and organized with a great attitude. Must have at least 3 years of Public Accounting experience. The firm offers long term stability with great benefits for the person who is able to meet deadlines and complete projects.

Job Responsibilities:

First stage client contact and relationship building

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and will learn preparation of tax returns

Qualifications:

Desire to learn and advance

3 years experience in public accounting

Fundamental knowledge of QuickBooks

Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools

Detail and deadline-oriented

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Corporate tax return preparation a plus

This is a long term position for someone who loves accounting and working with clients. Our corporate clients range from local small businesses to advanced international investors to, many of whom have been with the firm for decades. We are looking for staff who qualified, but who are also open to learn.
