Position Overview:

Roade Labs is seeking a talented and motivated Junior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The Junior System Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and learning in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards to ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems.

• Manage and monitor security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

• Handle the installation and configuration of hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

• Provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by users and provide timely resolutions.

• Assist in deploying and managing cloud-based services and applications, including cloud storage, virtual machines, and software as a service (SaaS) solution.

• Support DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) setups to automate software development, testing, and deployment processes.

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations.

• Implement backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in system administration, preferably in a mid-sized organization.

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as Vmware or Hyper-V.
