LLG is currently seeking a full-time legal assistant with 2+ years’ experience. Our legal assistants help in every aspect of pre-litigation case management. We are selective about which cases we take and keep case volume low so that our team can produce top quality work and provide the time, attention, and detail our clients (and their cases) deserve. We have an open-door policy and support our team by maintaining an open line of communication. LLG provides extensive opportunities for training and continuing education. Summary Job Description

· Our legal assistants develop relationships with our clients as we genuinely care about the people we help.

· We keep case volume low so that our legal assistants have time to work on all files and produce top quality work.

· We do not separate our legal assistants responsibilities into "pre-lit" and "litigation." By keeping the same legal assistants on each file, our clients do not have to lose the people whom they have grown to know during the pre-litigation stage of the case.

· Our legal assistants help in every aspect of case management, including: ordering medical records and police reports, doing balance verification, setting up claims, and more.

Full Job Description

· Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience working as a personal injury general or legal assistant.

· Utilization of case management software; Data entry including placing notes into the firm’s client management system; Update case files.

· Keep meticulous records; Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems.

· Order and review medical records.

· Verify account balances, liens and third-party interests.

· Ensure all files are organized, complete and ready for demand.

· Screen calls, update clients with status of their case, provide information to medical providers and insurance companies.

· Greet and assist onsite guests with a positive, helpful attitude, providing them a professional welcome, going above and beyond in the service approach.

· Provide general office support and assistance in completing miscellaneous projects as needed; Light back up reception; Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, copying/scanning/filing/faxing, and team support.

· Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment; Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.

· Ability to act with integrity regarding all matters of confidentiality.

· Excellent communication with customer service experience; Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

· High energy individual who enjoys providing good customer service to clients.

· Warmth, professionalism, sincerity and a welcoming attitude come naturally to you whether speaking to our clients on the phone or greeting them in our office.

· Have extraordinary organizational and interpersonal skills dealing with a diverse range of people.

· You impress our clients with your competence as well as your ability to sympathize with their situation.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations; Ability to think on your feet because when working in a client-service business not everything is cut and dry.

· Be a self-sufficient, self-motivated, highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment; Capacity to work under pressure and prioritize work quickly.

· Be responsible and must be able to represent the firm in a manner befitting a law office;

· Tech savvy and confident handling new computer and phone systems, knowledge of Windows environment, and proficient using Microsoft Office/Office 365.

· Desire to learn; The right candidate has opportunities to advance.
