Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with specialized experience in Investment Casting and proficiency in a regulated environment for a new project launch.

Job Requirements:

B.S. in Engineering

Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Investment Casting Engineer in a foundry setting

Experience in Medical Device, Automotive, or Aerospace industries

Demonstrated experience with new casting product launches from feasibility through validation and commercialization

Familiarity with wax pattern tool/mold design

Proficient with GD&T and technical drawing interpretation per ASME Y14.5M standards

Ability to interpret CMM reports

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Minitab

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of PFMEA/DFMEA, Gage R&R, TMV, Risk Assessments, and Control Plans

Equipment validation experience (IQ, OQ & PQ)

Background in Sand, Die Casting or Foam Castings; Wax or Plastic Injection Molding; CNC Machining (of Castings a plus)

Solid Modelling expertise (NX/Unigraphics, Solid Works, Pro-E)

Simulation software proficiency (Solidification, FEA, Mold Flow, CFM)

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

Experience with additive manufacturing (3D Printing)

Statistical Analysis skills using Mini-tab software

Experience using ceramic cores in the investment casting process

6-axis robot operation or programming experience

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire process of investment casting product launches including feasibility studies and full validation to commercial launch.

Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Manage projects efficiently to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

Note: Candidates must have direct working experience with castings - specifically Sand or Die casting within a foundry environment.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
